FACTS

Itinerary & program

The ice and weather situation decides where we will ice skate. We choose the area that provides the best Nordic skating conditions at the time. We will book your choice of accommodation in the area to minimise travel time. Your guide will do everything he can to make your stay special.

Day 1

Your guide picks you up at the airport, train station or at your hotel.

After changing to skating clothes and getting familiar with the skating equipment. If possible we go directly for skating on a nearby lake or drive to the area there we will skate the day after.

After checking in to your accommodation of choice. You will have dinner together with your guide who reveal the plans for the next day.

Day 2 to .....

At breakfast we prepare our lunch packs and and fill up the thermoses with tea or coffee. We pack everything we need for the day in the provided skating backpacks and head out. After a short walk or ride in the minibus we will be on the ice! Guide first, checking the ice and navigating. You following on safe ices enjoying the Swedish nature.

The speed and distance is adjusted to the group and the ice condition. Now and then we take short stops to admire the scenery, chat, or just rest. During the day we go ashore for lunch. Sometimes we walk to another nearby lake.

At the end of the day we head back to our accommodation. Before dinner there is time to relax, talk about the day, or go to the sauna.

Later on, if the conditions are right, your guide might propose to go ice skating in the moonlight!

Last day

We can ice skate as long as we can before heading to the airport. Or we can visit an old village and have coffee in a cosy place. On the way we stop for a shower and you will be well in time for your flight back home or your next adventure.
